SPECTRUM WORLDWIDE APPOINTED BY SINGAPORE SPORTS COUNCIL TO CREATE THE INAUGURAL STANDARD CHARTERED MARATHON SINGAPORE
Singapore, 7 May, 2010 - Spectrum Worldwide today announced that it has been awarded the contract to oversee race operations, logistics and volunteer management services for the 2010 Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore (SCMS 2010) by the Singapore Sports Council (SSC).
The SCMS 2010, which will be held on Sunday, December 5, will provide more than 60,000 participants with a new route and a totally original experience. The scope of work for SCMS 2010 for Spectrum will include the management of the Start Points, Finish Point, Athlete Welfare Area, Baggage Storage Facility, Corporate Hospitality and Carnival Area.
Spectrum Worldwide, an event management company, has been based in Singapore for seven years and has regional experience working on more than 100 running events and numerous other sporting and corporate events including OCBC Cycle Singapore, J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge, the Anlene Orchard Mile and City Chase.
